Betty White Inducted Into NAB Hall Of Fame

Move over Michael Joran, Larry Bird, and Magic Johnson, Betty White has been inducted into the NBA Hall of Fame.

Wait… Nevermind.  Betty White was inducted into the NAB Hall of Fame.

That’s the National Association of Broadcasters  Hall of Fame.

White was inducted  during a special ceremony in Las Vegas on Tuesday, and joins the likes of Regis Philbin, Jerry Lewis, Carol Burnett, and Lucille Ball, being recognized for her lengthy career, seven Emmy Awards, and numerous roles on film and television.

NAB President-CEO Gordon Smith said in a statement to the media, “Betty White is admired by generations of audiences. She has remarkable energy and an incredible ability to connect with viewers. Betty’s contributions to television and entertainment as a whole are extraordinary. Our Hall of Fame would be incomplete without her.”

White herself told Piers Morgan after the induction, “I was inducted into their Hall of Fame, it was a big thrill. It’s amazing, it was interesting.”
