Britney Spears created another stir on the set of ‘X-Factor’ auditions in Greensboro, North Carolina on Tuesday, leaving the stage after a contestant paid tribute to the singer with a rendition of her classic hit, ‘You Drive Me Crazy.’
A source claims the man was dressed in drag, and told the judges that he was recently put on welfare, and could barely afford his phone bill. After the performance, Spears, along with Demi Lovato and LA Reid all walked off the set, leaving only Simon Cowell to critique the performance.
Cowell told the contestant, ” I don’t think she understood your tribute,” according to the source.
Spears later returned to tell the contestant:
“I really respect the tribute. It was really nice.”
Maybe that was the theme of the day, because a storm rolled though Greensboro, striking a production truck on the grounds, causing for auditions to be suspended indefinitely for the day.
