Rihanna And Drake Lead VMA Nominations

The full list of nominees for the 2012 VMA’s has been released, and Rihanna and Drake are leading the pack among artist nominated for the trophies.

Battling it out against each other for Video of the Year,  Rihanna is nominated for ‘We Found Love,’ and Drake for ‘Take Care,’ which also features Rihanna.  They will be squaring off against Gotye, Katy Perry, and M.I.A.

Rihanna is also the favorite in the category for Best Female Video, Best Pop Video, Best Choreography, and Best Visual Effects.

Drake, was nominated in categories for Best Hip-Hop Video, Best Art Direction, Best Cinematography, and Best Male Video, where he will be up against new nemesis, Chris Brown.
