Tiger Woods is going to be talking for the first time since Christmas on Friday morning, when he holds a press conference to address his fans and colleagues about the past two months.
It’s likely going to be a giant apology, but for that I ask why?
Tiger only owes an apology to his wife, kids, family, and friends who were involved. Tiger only owes an apology to his sponsors because when they hired him, they weren’t expecting a Dennis Rodman or Charles Barkley type character where you have to be ready for the unexpected.
Tiger does not owe any of his fans an apology, nothing he has done has had any effect on any of our lives, and will not have any effect on any of our lives.
Tiger should either step up to the podium and announce his return to golf, or not step up at all. Apologies to the family can and should be done behind closed doors.
