Rihanna was the most notable celebs guest to NOT be at Katy Perry and Russell Brand’s wedding in India this past weekend.
Was it a snub? Not really. Though the logic is suspicious.
Rihanna told Extra she missed the nuptials because she was worried there would be no phone or internet service there ,and she’s in a very important stage of promotions and decisions for her album, due out November 10.
Rihanna says she was “crushed;” adding that it would have been irresponsible to attend. “I was really looking forward to it – but she understood, thank god.”
Her new album, Loud, is due out in two weeks, and there are decisions to be made says the singer: “The album is coming out in two weeks, and I had to be available for a lot of approvals. We couldn’t get any phone service or Internet service out there.”
We don’t think it was a bad excuse. Who doesn’t want to go to their BFFs wedding?
