Lauren Conrad and Whitney Port may have been the best of friends while filming scenes like the one pictured above for ‘The Hills’ on MTV, but it looks like their relationship has soured since Port moved to ‘The City’ and Lauren left TV for ‘The Hills’ final season.
According to the new issue of Us Magazine, Whitney Port blames Lauren Conrad for the cancellation of ‘The City,’ as she believes they canceled it to make room for Conrad’s now defunct new reality show.
A source tells the magazine, Whitney is upset because she thinks that The City was canceled to make room for Lauren’s new reality show. Whitney feels like she got the shaft.”
Ironically, if that was in fact true, it was probably a decision MTV regrets as they have now canceled Conrad’s new reality show calling it “too high brow” for the current lineup.
The new Conrad reality pilot was to center around her journey in creating her fashion line.
