Katy Perry Talks Her And Russell Brand’s Honest Relationship With Vanity Fair

Katy Perry is opening up about her relationship with Russell Brand in the new issue of Vanity Fair, claiming that her husband has never lied to her.

Perry tells the mag that Brand has”never lied to me once,” adding, “I trust him; there’s just a level of trust that we’ve built up.”

The pair married last year in India, after a year of dating.

As for their routine, and mixing religion in the household, Perry tells VF:

“I come from a very non-accepting family, but I’m very accepting, Russell is into Hinduism, and I’m not [really] involved in it. He meditates in the morning and the evening; I’m starting to do it more because it really centers me. [But] I just let him be him, and he lets me be me.”

Perry was brought up in a very strict home with evangelical minister parents, and claims she “didn’t have a childhood.”  According to the sometimes controversial singer, her mother never read them any books besides the bible, and they were not allowed to say things like “develed eggs” and “dirt devil” in their home.
