One of our favorite stars and authors (“Call Me Crazy” is a must-read) Anne Heche stopped by David Letterman last night to promote, well, whatever it is she’s doing now.
Things got interesting when conversation turned to marriage, and, specifically, her Ex. Celestia from Fresno seems to still be harboring a grudge about ex-husband, Coley Laffoon. When David asked her what “Homer’s father” is doing, Ellen Degeneres’ ex gave the crazy eyes and responded with:
“Can I say it on TV? He’s doing a lot for himself right now. The newest and greatest event for him right now is soccer. [sigh] You can’t quite let go of the Ex. Don’t get married. Forever engaged is a wonderful romantic thing. Don’t go there. They don’t leave. I can’t even get a divorce. Now I have to go and watch him in his little white shorts playing soccer. I divorced you! I don’t want to see him on Saturday! I divorced you! No, I don’t want to hang out with you on Thursdays and maybe Saturday!”
and, continuing on her rant, Anne recalled a very special memory:
“He goes up to the mailbox, and he opens up the little mailbox and he goes: “Oh my god! I got a check from Anne! I got a check from Anne! Yay!”
Bitter Divorcee, Table of One? We’re guessing Coley won’t be inviting Anne to his soccer games anymore. Hmmm… Not so much.
