Beat It, Britney: Jacko Most Yahoo!’d
The King of Pop dethroned Britney, bitch, to become 2009′s most-searched celeb on Yahoo!, so says Yahoo! That sentence looks emphatic, but Yahoo! is technically spelled with an exclamation point, so you can’t end a sentence with it without sounding exuberant. To wit: She turned to him and whispered, “I’ll check Yahoo!”
Michael Jackson’s death catapulted him atop the rankings, a spot held by Britney Spears for the last four years. Sorry, Brit, but death tops shenanigans; you’ll have to kill someone to make a comeback.
“Twilight” came in second on the list, followed by WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment), [Megan] Fox and Spears. “Naruto” captured sixth place, with the reality show “American Idol,” Kardashian, NASCAR (National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing) and the online role-playing fantasy game “Runescape” rounding out the top 10.
Add another search to Naruto‘s tally – I just punched it into Yahoo! to find out what the hell it is. It’s some Japanese manga series.
