The Queen of Disco, Donna Summer, has passed away at the age of 63. The five time Grammy winner had been battling with breast cancer, and passed away on Thursday morning. Her songs will live on forever. RIP Ms. Summer.

Author Maurice Sendak Dies at 83

Maurice Sendak, the author of ‘Where The Wild Things Are,’ has passed away at the age of 83. The author, who also drew the iconic images in the famous  story passed away early this morning at a hospital in Connecticut after suffering a stroke on Friday. RIP Maurice.

NFL Star Junior Seau Found Dead At Home Near San Diego

Oceanside, CA police responded to a 911 call to the home of former NFL star Junior Seau Wednesday morning, where Seau was found dead at the scene from an apparent gunshot wound to the chest. Officers will be holding a press conference live at the scene of the crime shortly. Update: 12:30 PST    Police are investigating the death as a suicide.  A handgun was found near the body. Seau was 43 years old, and leaves behind three children.

The legendary Dick Clark has passed away at age of 82. Reps for Clark have reported to TMZ that the TV icon had been in St. John’s hospital in L.A. after undergoing an outpatient procedure on Tuesday night. The ‘Rockin’ New Years Eve’ host  suffered a “massive” heart attack following the procedure,  and attempts to resuscitate him were unsuccessful. RIP Dick Clark

The toxicology report in Whitney Houston’s death has been revealed, and unfortunately it’s as expected. According to the report, Whitney died from “drowning and effects of atherosclerotic heart disease and cocaine use.” Meaning, there was cocaine found in Whitney Houston’s system, though none was found in the hotel room where her body was discovered.
