Blink 182 Guitarist Tom DeLonge recently told Billboard.com that the band will have a new song “Up All Night” ready for the beginning of their 2009 tour in Vegas.
With the unexpected success of the tour (tickets outsold promoters’ expectations 3 to 1. The once $20-60 tickets are now selling for up to $900 on ebay and ticketmaster), a full album is unrealistic.
The band is just too busy to get it all done! Instead, the one song will be a perfect pickup from where the band left off in 2005, yet also has a new ambitious sound. Supposedly, the song has a little Pink Floyd, Rush, and old school Blink in there.
Fans are practically eating their fingers in anticipation.
