Jeff Dunham’s Cancelation Might Make Me Believe In God, But He Allowed It In the First Place

Aw man, it looks like Comedy Central went ahead and canceled the worst show in their network’s history and future. That’s right, I’m making a blanket statement that as long as Comedy Central remains on the air, they will never have a show worse than the Jeff Dunham Show. I don’t care if they give Charlie Viracola an hour nightly. No, wait, that’s not true. Don’t do that, either.

After debuting with 5.3 million viewers, the highest numbers in the net’s history, ratings for the show about rascally lil’ puppets and the gut-bustingly unfunny things they say plummeted by 55%. That means there are 2.9 million people in this country who watched a show containing a puppet named “Achmed the Dead Terrorist” and decided to give it a second viewing. I promise you a Venn diagram of them and people who don’t believe in evolution would basically be two overlapping circles.
