After seventeen years of marriage, Billy-Ray Cyrus and Tish Cyrus are calling it quits.
The couple filed for divorce today, and released the following statement through a rep:
“As you can imagine, this is a very difficult time for our family,” they say in a statement. “We are trying to work through some personal matters. We appreciate your thoughts and prayers.”
Could cheating have been what destroyed this marriage? We’ve seen tons of mistress scandals popping up recently, but Tish Cyrus sort of comes across as a loosey goosey to us, so we wouldn’t be surprised if it came from either side in this matter.
Either that, or they realized they were a month away from being in charge of all Miley’s money, and decided to just give up the act.
