Miley Cryus, who is only fifteen and the television personality of Disney’s ‘Hannah Montana, has been taking heat for photos she took during a shoot with Annie Leibovitz of Vanity Fair.
On April 28Th, television networks ran a story spilling the beans about the situation, which only served to increase the teenage star’s popularity a more elevated level, as well as opening her to other demographics that Disney’s strong policy of latent teenage sexuality would never allow. Vanity Fair released details to Entertainment Tonight that Miley’s parents were present at the shoot.
I must admit, that I am curious to know what the motive for this picture is. One could argue that this is merely a publicity stunt, however, we have all seen celebs do things that lead you to believe, that they are only a few brain cells short of forgetting to breathe. Beyond the ethic questions this scandal brings to mind, you have to admit this is quite a fashion statement, after all skin is in.
