Courtney Cox Is A Movie Star. It Just So Happens They’re All Scream Movies
We teased you with the possibility before. Now it’s official: Courtney Cox (harumph, fine, Courtney Cox-Arquette), and her hubby, David Arquette, are set to reprise their roles in the fourth installment of the Scream series.
I’m sitting here typing this having seen all three Screams and I honestly can’t remember whether or not Courtney and David’s characters survived the last installment. At the very least, didn’t Dewey die? Don’t fans demand it? Since the Screams don’t feature the undead or ghosts (like in a Freddy or Jason or Ricky Gervais movie), I guess they lived. So did Neve Campbell‘s character, but Neve’s not coming back, according to writer Kevin Williamson. (IMDB says her next movie is called Matchstalk Man. Doesn’t that sound like the sequel to Matchstick Men? I really hope it’s a rock doc about Status Quo.)
