Cast of Lipstick Jungle Won’t Let Go of Hope.

The final episode of Lipstick Jungle will air on NBC tonight, though some of the cast are keeping high hopes for the future. Brooke Shields is keeping the faith based on some e-mails she’s been recieving. Brooke Shields apparently didn’t get the memo that NBC was canceling Lipstick Jungle last week, because at an event in NYC this weekend she said she’d heard nothing of the sort. As for those slacking ratings? There must not be many of you with jungle fever like myself, because NBC has officially pulled the plug on Lipstick Jungle. All 5 of us LJ fans knew it was coming when it got the death sentence of being moved to Friday nights, but so soon? NBC has shot all 13 of the episodes ordered for this season of Lipstick Jungle, but no word on if they will continue to air the rest. The show is averaging about a 1.2 rating in it’s new time slot. Due to slumping numbers, Lipstick Jungle has been moved from NBC’s Wednesday night lineup to the dreaded Friday night spot. The good news for all five of us Lipstick Jungle fans out there, is that we’ll get to watch a second episode this week! Lipstick Fridays will start tonight on NBC.
