Will Smith Knows Not to F With American Heroes.

Before the whole Captain America/Will Smith racist nonsense that was brought upon over something said by Marvel creator Stan Lee, Will Smith had already addressed the issue and said exactly what I was thinking.

Back in July, Smith revealed to MTV that he was offered a Superman role  prior to being casted as Hancock, but turned it down.

Smith says;

“The last Superman I got offered, the script came, and I was like, ‘There is no way I’m playing Superman!’ Because I had already done Jim West (Wild Wild West) and you can’t be messing up white peoples’ heroes in Hollywood. You mess up white peoples’ heroes in Hollywood, you’ll never work in this town again!”

The success of Smith’s  alcoholic anti-hero who saves the day in Hancock has given the greenlight for the film to do a prequel.
