In the latest news of the Jessica Simpson / Speedfit $10-million-dollar lawsuit , it appears that Joe $impson has called in the big boys to handle the situation.
Speedfit CEO Alex Astilean was reportedly “put on notice” by the Simpson camp with them telling him, “The Simpson Parties will no longer tolerate your excesses, and you are now on formal notice of their legal claims against you. …. I suggest that you govern yourself accordingly.”
But was it Jessica Simpson’s camp who instructed him to file the lawsuit in the first place?
Astilean sent StarzLife over another conversation between his party and David Levin.
In this new never before heard video, Levin tells Astilean that if theres no way they will let Jessica’s trainer, Mike Alexander, in the video, he better call his lawyer and file a lawsuit against Jessica Simpson. Levin then warns that if that’s the way they choose to go, Joe Simpson will hire the most powerful people, and Astilean will end up spending all his money on lawyers and never get his Speedfit program going. He end’s with “If you play hardball with Joe, he’ll play hardball back.”
Astilean also tells StarzLife that he’s been canceled on by several media outlets, because Joe Simpson threatened all of them with lawsuits of their own if they air any footage from the workout dvd upon speaking with the Speedfit CEO.
Apparently thats Joe $impson playing hardball…
