Ugh, Twitter talk is taking over the subject headers. Anyways, Slumdog Millionaire has reached the milestone of $200-million box-office-bucks recently.
Sure, some movies do that in a couple of weeks, and a lot never do, but this movie only cost $15-milion to make, so that’s a $185 million dollar profit to go with 8 Oscars!
Also, this movie was only a short $3-million from overtaking Titanics reign as top post oscar re-release, which was set back more than 10 years ago when the film brought in $15.2 million after the awards.
Danny Boyle should just buy the Mumbai slums and fix em up with all this cash! Look at it as a helpful investment.
