How does a powerhouse show like American Idol redeem themselves after making us all sit through performances by Ruben Studdard and Randy Travis over the past two weeks? Well it’s by bringing in the person who is arguably the biggest pop star on the planet right now, Lady GaGa.
In addition to Gaga, American Idol 7 winner David Cook will also perform.
The Lady’s appearance helps to possibly confirm the rumor that this weeks theme will be iTunes top 100.
As that is the rumor, every Idol fan website has people suggesting that front runner Adam Lambert give us a rendition of a Britney Spears song.

Charley I don’t think you should be knocking the velvet teddy bear but say what ever you want about Randy Travis. As far as what Britney song the “front runner” as you call him should sing… I think he will sing I’m a slave for you. He’s freaky like that.
