Forbes Magazine compiled their first ever list of the top-earning women in Hollywood from June 2008 to June 2009. Women from all avenues of entertainment were considered.
1. Oprah, $275 Million
2. Madonna, $110 million
3. Celine Dion, $100 million
4. Beyonce, $87 million
5. Stephanie Meyers, $50 million (the writer of Twilight)
6. Judge Judy, $45 million (are you kidding me!?)
7. Britney Spears, $35 million
The list continues until 15, but at that point you start crying because these ladies make more in a month than you will likely see in your lifetime. Thanks for making me feel like a failure in life, Miley Cyrus.
One lesson to be learned from this list- being a gay icon will fill your pocketbooks! Mariah needs to work harder because there is no reason she shouldn’t be on this list. Pure camp alone has given Judge Judy those $45 million dollars.
