Someone is always upset that their loved one was not include in the Oscars memorial segment, this year a pretty big name was omitted from the memorial.

Farrah Fawcett, who died this past summer, was predominately a TV actress, but still her friends and family feel that she should have been included in a memorial, that even had space for a non-actor, Michael Jackson.

Her long time lover Ryan O’neal would only say, “There is no comment other than we were disappointed that she was not included,” but other celebs were taking to their Twitters to speak out in opposition of the decision to keep her out.

Tweets Roger Ebert; “No Farrah Fawcett in the memorial tribute? Major fail,”

Long time friend Jane Fonda added; “Where was Farrah Fawcett? She should have been included #oscars #FAIL.”

Oscar bosses are defending their decision though, and only saying; “It is the single most troubling element of the Oscar show every year. Because more people die each year than can possibly be included in that segment. You are dropping people who the public knows. It’s just not comfortable.”

What do you guys think?  Should Farrah have been included instead of Michael??
