Ed Westwick Longing to Play the Caped Crusader

Ed Westwick has recently come out and admitted one of his dreams is to play Batman on the big screen.

Ed attributes the desire to having Batman as a hero when he was a kid, as is the case for many kids.  We’re sure most male celebs would love a shot at playing Batman on the big screen.

Explains the Gossip Girl star:

“It would be a dream come true to play Batman in a big blockbuster movie. He was my childhood superhero. He’s a damn good fighter and has access to amazing gadgets, such as the utility belt and, of course, the Batmobile – I’d give my left arm just to sit in it.”

Something about Ed Westwick does have Bruce Wayne/Batman written all over it. Chuck Bass by day, super hero by night, it fits!  We fully support this casting and we will lead the charge right now.
