Britney Spears the Topic of Domestic Violence Rumor

More than likely it’s a case of “I haven’t seen my name in the news in some time now, and need to make a couple bucks quick,” but a former Britney Spears boyfriend is claiming that she’s currently stuck in an abusive relationship.

Jason Alexander, the guy who Britney married for 55 hours in Las Vegas before coming’ to her senses is telling Star Magazine that he’s gotten emails and text messages from Spears all of which claim she is the victim of domestic violence by boyfriend Jason Trawick.  Alexander tells the mag:

“Britney is in an abusive relationship. She told me her life had turned into a nightmare.”

The source and the mag claims that Trawick has beaten her on multiple occasions, and that the singer feels trapped.

We hope it’s not true at all, and we have a feeling she will be clearing it up with her weekly “BS Report” if so.

Hi Charley! Domestic Violence is very serious and I am personally dedicated to making a difference in this world as it relates to this issue. I certainly hope that Brittany Spears is not entangled in such a relationship. I nearly lost my life at the hands of my abusive ex-husband (he set me on fire and left me for dead in a forest preserve) in 1999 and now I travel the country to share my story and help other women so that my story, doesn’t become their story. Please visit http://www.BrendaDTaylor.com for more information and to pick up a copy of my memoir – “Beauty for Ashes.” Your life will never be the same. By the way… I’d love to do an interview with you! Hit me up!

Like Brenda said, I certainly hope Britney is not in a domestic violence relationship. It is very serious and a growing social issue. I also hope she’s not just doing this for publicity or her ex-husband because though it draws attention to the issue, it takes away from people who really went through or are going through such an issue. If anyone feels they are in a domestic violence relationship, please check out http://thesocialshrink.blogspot.com/ for signs you can look for.
