Lindsay Lohan has long been rumored as a top candidate in portraying Stevie Nicks in a biopic about her life, but Nicks isn’t ready to give Lohan the green light just yet.
During a recent chat with CNN, the Fleetwood Mac singer says: “That’s never going to happen unless she cleans up her life and becomes the great actress I feel she can be.”
That doesn’t mean Nicks isn’t a fan of Lohan, as she adds, “Everybody thinks I hate her, and it’s not that at all. I just want her to get it together.
“I was completely messed up for a long time and I got it together. She’s a very talented girl… If she could get it together, she could have a really big career and she could do great things.”
Lohan has spent the past few years off screen for the most part, and in and out of jail and rehab, but with the possibility that her 120 day jail sentence could be lowered to house arrest, she could get things back in order as long as she’s willing to clean up her act.
Lindsay has already signed on to play Kim Gotti in the John Gotti biopic, and landed another role in a separate mob movie.
