There’s a scramble on the set of the American Idol finale!
During rehearsals for tonight’s finale, finalist Lauren Alaina was set to rehearse three songs, but after stumbling through the first, and having trouble with the second, she was unable to rehearse the third.
Alaina had lost her voice, and it was first reported that a doctor had instructed her not to speak or sing.
Producers were scrambling to find third place contestant Haley Reinhart to fill in and have a second chance at winning according to the initial report, but according to TV Guide, producers have confirmed that she will compete against Scotty McCreery.
The contestants, whoever they may be will be taking the stage shortly to sing for the crown of American Idol.
Hopefully Lauren Alaina is able to pull through, the advantage is clearly with Scotty right now.
