Fans have never lost out on hope for a ‘Ghostbusters 3,’ and neither has Dan Aykroyd.
Aykroyd has most recently revealed that he is still trying to get the film made, despite Bill Murray officially turning down a role in the film, and the original script writers giving up on the script as well.
While signing autographs for fans at a recent event to promote his Crystal Head Vodka, Aykroyd said he’s hired new writers who are currently trying to make it “perfect.”
He explained, “We’ve got a new writing staff working on it now. It’s got to be prefect. That’s the whole thing. There’s no point in doing it unless it’s perfect. So that’s what we’re up to now.”
It’s been more than 23 years since the release of Ghostbusters 2, so what’s another year as long as it gets done and gets done right, right?
