An airport employee in Malawi has let the cat out of the bag that three-year-old Mercy James has left the country on Friday night to be flown to her new London home with Madonna.
Madonna was awarded the adoption on June 12 after a ruling in April said that she would not be allowed to add the young girl to her brood.
Madonna has homes in London and the USA, and the young child, who was accompanied by a nanny, child medic, and third helper would arrive in London on Saturday morning after a stop in South Africa.
