The Hills “writer” Lauren Conrad’s book, L.A. Candy is being made into a film.
The non fiction masterpiece has been on the New York Times bestseller list for 14 weeks.
L.A. Candy’s buyers? The Twilight saga producers: Temple Hill Entertainment!
Temple Hill partner Marty Bowen seems bizarrely enthused with the piece of crap purchase:
“Lauren, who became an icon in that reality show world, came to us with a structure of how to tell the story in an interesting fashion that was separate and apart from the book. We loved her take. Her book is an honest portrayal of what it must be like to set out to be normal, then sign on to become famous and eventually realize, wow, this isn’t at all what I’d planned for myself.”
Oh, save it sister! If LC wrote that book, then Hellen Keller flew planes. You know that Conrad just walked into that meeting, sat down with a writer and painted her nails during their “writing” session.
L.C. has three books in her deal, so perhaps the Temple Hill guys are planning on a three film series? Dumb? Dumber? And Dumb-As-Hell-Est?
