Canadian Football League Reviewing Player’s MJ Tribute TD Celebration

The Canadian Football League is trying to decide what to do about the touchdown celebration of Toronto Argonauts receiver Arland Bruce in which he was honoring the late Michael Jackson.

Frankly, it’s got me a bit confused as well!

No, he didn’t do the moon walk, the thriller, the tip toes.  There was no crotch grab, or one glove either.  When Bruce scored the touchdown that put his team up 6-0, he took off his helmet, shoulder pads, and jersey, and laid on the ground pretending to be buried.

What kind of tribute is pretending to be dead?

Check out the video above.

Bruce was given two conduct penalties for the incident, and the league will decide whether a fine shall be handed out.

Bruce is no stranger to this controversy though, He’s dubbed the Chad OchoCinco of the CFL, and once pulled a Spiderman mask out of his pants after scoring a touchdown and put it on.

He sure could use a few creativity lessons from OchoCinco…
