Hilary Duff’s Scariest Wedding Day Moment: Losing a Tooth

Hilary Duff revealed soemthing to Ellen Degeneres this week in an episode set to air on Monday that would be most bride’s worst nightmare

At around 11am on the morning of her wedding day, she lost a tooth!

Hil says: “I was sitting on the bed with my mom and my sister, and they’re like, ‘You’re an idiot. You did not. Come on,’ ”

A friend of the wedding planner who was a dentist was able to come in and fix the situation in time, but Hilary claims she played it pretty cool given the circumstances.  We can see most brides freaking out, and seeing it as a bad omen!

Duff married Mike Comrie on August 30th in LA.  She’s currently promoting her first book, which is a New York Times best seller, while Mike is in Pittsburgh playing with the Penguins.

Now that’s inconvenient. One of the biggest days of your life got blocked my this disaster? That has got to hurt, girl! It’s a good thing that there were dentists around to help her, and she kept her cool! Gah, suddenly, I miss the days when I was watching Lizzie McGuire back at my house in Laurel, MD.

During predicaments like that, don’t you wish that there’s an emergency dentist whose clinic is nearby? Man, it’s your wedding day then something suddenly happens to your teeth. I’ve never had any dental emergency during important events before, and I certainly hope I won’t get to experience them ever. Speaking of Hilary Duff, my nieces used to watch her when she was still Lizzie McGuire. lol

I experienced the same thing as Hilary Duff. My tooth fell off too, around a day before my wedding ceremony. Everyone was rushing at that time which happened to be a good thing ‘coz I was able to sneak out to see our local dentist here in Miami. Veneers were temporarily placed to replace the tooth. And after the wedding ceremony I revealed in to my wife and she was like: “Ew! How am I supposed to kiss you then?” Then we both burst into laughter.
