P. Diddy: Sky is NOT the Limit for BIG Memorial Party Admission
Fans of the late Notorious B.I.G were peeved when they showed up to a memorial party Tuesday night in NYC only to be hit with a $100 to $150 entry fee!
The party, which was held in honor of the rapper on the 13th anniversary of his death was to be headlined by a performance from Biggie’s mentor, P.Diddy.
Fans flooded Diddy’s twitter page with complaints about the admission price, citing that early admission tickets had been on sale for just $30 in the weeks past, and accusing the rap mogul from profiting off of his friends death.
Diddy quickly followed up with this tweet; “I am not promoting the party. I’m not making money from this… As soon as I get there I will tell them to stop trying to overcharge people. Sorry to all who were inconvenienced. I will fix.”
The Notorious BIG was gunned down in Los Angeles on March 9th, 1997.
