Quentin Tarantino’s Inglourious Basterds premiered last night in Hollywood but it was the after-party that Hollywood’s A-List won’t be quick to forget.
The official after-party took place on Monday night at the Mondrian Hotel with stars such as Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Eli Roth and Russell Simmons among others. Numerous media outlets are reporting that one person missing from the party was the film’s director Quentin Tarantino, but was he really missing from the party?
A source on the inside confirmed to Starzlife that Quentin did in fact book and pay for a room at the hotel last night under a false name. Sources at the Mondrian confirmed that Tarantino was indeed upstairs and that the reclusive Tarantino threw an ultra exclusive after after-party in one of the hotel’s private suites where Brad and Angie made a brief stop before sneaking out of the hotel’s back door.
We happened to spot a brand ambassador for the ultra rare Deleon Tequila carrying two bottles towards an elevator that was heading towards the hotel suite. After some digging, we’ve discovered that Deleon is very hard to come by, and those that do get a bottle, get to have it hand delivered to their door.
So was QT hiding out from the common folk at the party below to celebrate his new film by drinking some high end tequila with only a few elite A-List friends? A call to Tarantino’s rep was not immediately returned.
