Brit’s Diet Secrets.

Now that Britney Spears has broken her silence to OK! Magazine last week, it’s like she won’t shut up! Britney is featured on the cover of this weeks mag, and reveals her diet secrets inside. See it all after this.

The above picture was taken towards the end of May at Christian Audigier’s 50th birthday party, so we’ll round up to 75 days from this cover story where Britney claims you can lose 12 lbs in 30 days.  I credit her figure on the cover to Photoshop class and professional photography; but heres what Britney has to say;

My diet has a lot to do with my getting into shape. I have no sugar. I don’t eat fruit or even fruit juice because of the sugar. I eat chicken and salmon and rice. I eat avocados. I’ll have egg whites for breakfast and sometimes turkey burgers for lunch. I try to do just 1,200 calories a day. It may sound like it’s not much, but it’s actually a lot of food if you eat the right things.”

Not that Britney isn’t getting back into shape, because it feels like the only places you ever see her are at court, at the gas station, or at the gym,  or any combination of the two, or all three combined. But, 12 pounds in 30 days is something silly you would hear on a late night infomercial trying to sell you the sit-up belt.

Dietitians will advise a person to eat right and exercise and lose about 1/2 to 1 pound per week, 2 lbs. at the most. (Generally, not more than 1% of your total weight) Britney in 30 days is averaging 3 lbs. per week, which is a sign of bad eating habits (aka starving)

Hopefully Britney will be present at the VMA’s and she can show off her super bod.
